Hi! I’m Megan, the proud owner of the newly rebranded Plum & Proper Dishes, formally known as Debby Does Dishes. Over the years, I was mentored by the former owner and creative antique-extraordinaire, Debby Rubley, before purchasing the business from her in 2023. Debby built the full-service vintage dish rental business over twenty years ago, and I was honored to take over the reins when the opportunity presented itself.

I am a total bleeding heart, a hopeless romantic, and someone who probably enjoys listening to your wedding speeches a little too much. I always encourage my couples to celebrate their love in a way that feels meaningful and authentic to them. No wedding is too big or too small - I love designing for all kinds of celebrations!

At the end of the day, my values are at the core of this business. I fundamentally believe that love is love and welcome inquiries from couples of all colors, genders, orientations, and religions. 

When I am not working on rentals, you can find me working in the schools, chasing my kiddos around, reading (romantasy lately), taking lots of pictures, or hitting up all the best yard and estate sales!
